Common questions
How much does a teak deck cost?
It is project-dependent, and we do not publish a price per square metre. What moves a quote is the deck itself: the shapes and how many hatches and fittings break it up, the frames around the panels, the thickness of the teak, and the width of the planks and seams. Removing an old deck is quoted separately, because it depends on what comes up. We quote per vessel, not from a price list.
→ What sets the cost of a teak deckHow long does a teak deck last?
Thickness decides it, not age. Every full sanding takes a fraction of a millimetre off the surface, so a thicker deck simply has more sandings left in it. We cut our seams through the full thickness of the teak, so the caulk holds until the last millimetre of wood. Not every deck is built that way. Bonded decks outlast screwed ones, because there are no fastener holes for water to find.
→ How long a teak deck lastsCan you supply panels for my own yard to fit?
Yes, that is how most of our work leaves the building. Panels arrive caulked, sanded and packed flat, with the bonding specification your team follows. If you would rather we fitted it ourselves, we can quote for that too.
→ Prefabricated panelsDo you ship outside Europe?
Yes, we deliver worldwide. A prefabricated deck ships flat as freight, and that is what makes distance workable: the templates travel as data, only the finished panels move. We can deliver the panels for your yard to fit, or come to the vessel and fit them ourselves. Tell us where the vessel lies and delivery goes into the quote.
